Privacy Policy

DAFF s.a.s. (limited partnership company) by Ortelli Francesco and Porcelli & C. (hereafter referred to as “DAFF”) provides the users of the DAFF website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”, accessible at https://www.gotagin.com/) with the following information, in compliance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (or General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as “G.D.P.R”) and subsequent national adaptation legislation (hereinafter referred to, in conjunction with the G.D.P.R., as “Applicable Privacy Regulation”). During the consultation of the Site, information relating to users is collected, which constitute personal data pursuant to the Applicable Privacy Policy.
The information is provided exclusively for the above Site, and not for other sites accessible through links on the same.

Types of data processed

Below are the data that are processed by DAFF in the event that the user uses the Site.

The user assumes responsibility for any personal data of third parties entered or posted on the Site and guarantees that he or she has the right to communicate or disseminate them – thus freeing DAFF from any liability to the aforementioned third parties.

Personal data acquired automatically when visiting the Site

  • Data on navigation. DAFF automatically collects data about the device (pc, tablet, mobile phone or other mobile device) and the connection used by the user, including, for example, the IP address, the date and time of access, information about hardware and software, event information about the device, unique identifiers, crash data.
  • Data on the use of the Site. DAFF collects information about how you have used the Site, including, for example, the pages of the Site or other content you view.

Personal data provided directly by the user

  • Data provided through e-mail enquiries. If the user, to request information, sends explicitly and voluntarily to the DAFF addresses indicated on the Site, or use the form available under “The Tasting – Where to taste Göta Gin” in the section “Where to find it”, DAFF acquires the e-mail address and any personal data of the user (and/or third parties) inserted in the text of the electronic communication, as well as – for the form “The tasting – Where to taste Göta Gin” the name and surname, the e-mail address, telephone number and any personal data of the user (and/or third parties) included in the text of the message.

Purposes of processing

  • Contribute to the functioning of the Site; 
  • Provide the user with the services that DAFF provides through the Site; 
  • Protect the vital interests of the user; 
  • Follow current legislation or pursue other needs of public interest. 

The user’s data is processed:

  • to operate, measure, improve and secure the Site and the services rendered through it;
  • to prevent, detect and mitigate security breaches and potentially prohibited or illegal activities.

Pursue DAFF’s legitimate interests in such a way that these interests do not override the fundamental rights and freedoms of the user. 

 

The user’s data is processed:

  • to identify and resolve problems encountered by the user in using the Site (for example, blocked or broken pages).

These treatments protect DAFF’s interest in keeping the Site functioning and efficient. They also do not affect the fundamental rights and freedoms of the user, as they are treatments predictable and disseminated on each site. In addition, such processing also benefits the user himself, allowing the Site to continue to function.

 

Social button

The Site uses several links, which allow users to visit DAFF’s Instagram profiles (see the Site’s footer). These links – which are presented as icons of the relevant social networks – do not involve the installation of third-party cookies.

 

Method of treatment

The personal data of the user are processed with tools, computer or telematics, exclusively for the purposes for which they were collected (see above) and stored for a certain period according to the criteria indicated in this privacy policy (see below).
Personal data may be known and processed by DAFF staff, properly instructed about the precautions to be taken under the Applicable Privacy Policy.

 

Duration of treatment

The specific retention times of the user’s personal data are documented in the register of processing activities of DAFF (implemented pursuant to Article 30 of the G.D.P.R.).
The personal data of the user are stored (according to the criteria referred to in recital 39 and art. 5, paragraph 1, lett. e) of the G.D.P.R.) for a period necessary to ensure that the Site functions, and that DAFF provides users with the services provided through the Site. This period may not exceed 10 years from the date of collection.
The user’s personal data may be stored for longer periods than those just seen only if this is necessary for DAFF to fulfil its legal obligations under them or to protect a right in court.
Upon expiration of these retention periods, your data is deleted, or anonymized permanently.

 

Data communication

DAFF may communicate the personal data processed only to the subjects and for the purposes indicated below.

Combating illegal acts and security breaches.

  • DAFF may disclose your personal data to third parties involved in preventing, detecting and mitigating potentially unlawful acts and security breaches.

Law enforcement, judicial proceedings and procedures authorised by law.

  • DAFF may disclose your personal data to Judicial Authorities, Public Authorities or authorised third parties, where required by law. As well as, in general, in cases where it is necessary to comply with legal obligations or verified requests relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, or to respond to claims by others about the rights, property or security of DAFF, its employees or users.

 

Rights of data subjects

Only in the cases and with all the limits provided by art. 15-22 G.D.P.R., the user has the right – at any time, free of charge and without special charges and formalities – to:

  • obtain confirmation that DAFF processes your personal data;
  • access your personal data, and know its origin, purposes and purposes of processing, the retention period and information regarding third parties to whom the personal data are disclosed;
  • revoke your consent at any time, if it is the basis for processing;
  • update or rectify your personal data collected by DAFF, so that it is always accurate and accurate;
  • exercise the cd. right to be forgotten, or to have your personal data collected by DAFF deleted from DAFF databases and/or backup archives;
  • restrict the processing of your personal data by DAFF;
  • object to the processing, for those personal data processed to pursue public interest or legitimate interests of DAFF;
  • be informed, within a reasonable period of time, of any corrections, cancellations or restrictions of processing ordered by DAFF, as well as of any revocation of such measures and the reasons for such withdrawals.

You may exercise these rights by making a written request to DAFF without formalities by sending an e-mail to info@gotagin.com.

Once received the above e-mail, DAFF will comply with the request within one month of receipt of the same. This period may be extended by two months – subject to notice to the user- considering the complexity and number of requests.

DAFF reminds the user that, where the response to his requests has not been satisfactory in his opinion, he/she may address and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (http://www.garanteprivacy.it/) in the ways provided by the Privacy Policy. 

 

Changes to the privacy policy

DAFF reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time, by advertising it to users on this page of the Site.
Please, therefore, the user to consult this page often, taking as reference the date of last change indicated at the bottom. Unless otherwise specified, in the event of a change, the previous privacy policy will continue to apply to the personal data collected so far.
